“For everything there is a season,
and a time for every matter under heaven.”

Eccles. 3:1

Some years ago, Patti and I asked Deacon Larry and Andi Oney if they would be willing to take leadership of the Conference and CCRNO when the time came for us to step back from doing that. We are writing to announce that the time has now come, and we are grateful that the Oneys are willing to provide leadership and direction for CCRNO and the Conference into the future. They have a powerful anointing and we are confident that they will enable CCRNO to bring the grace of Baptism in the Spirit to more people.

During the past few months, several meetings were held to plan for a transition into new leadership. In addition to being President of Hope and Purpose Ministry, Deacon Larry Oney will serve as Executive Director of CCRNO.

Patti and I will continue to be involved in CCRNO and help to ensure a smooth transition of leadership. Patti will co-lead the Women’s Retreat Team with Andi Oney. We both will continue working with the Pastoral Team and CCRNO prayer meeting at St. Benilde. We will also continue our ministry through speaking and writing.

As many of you know, I have a weekly commentary on the Sunday readings as well as a monthly blog on ccrno.org. Patti has been involved in an online Saturday program that originates in Brazil called “Torrent of Grace,” seen by over 100,000 people each week. With His grace, we intend to continue serving the Lord.

This has been an unusual year, to say the least, presenting all of us with many difficulties and challenges. However, we believe the Lord makes everything work together unto good for those who love him (cf. Rom. 8:28). The above decisions have been made in prayer, with careful thought and discernment, with advice and counsel, and submitted to the Archbishop, who has given his permission.

We take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all who have served with us in CCRNO and the Conference over the years. We also want to thank all of you who have faithfully supported CCRNO and the Conference with your financial gifts.

We ask you to give Deacon Larry and Andi Oney your cooperation and support as they, together with others, work to move CCRNO ahead. Above all, please pray for them and for everyone involved in CCRNO, knowing that only through prayer will there be any hope for success. “Unless the Lord build the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1). We commend everything and everyone to the patronage of Our Blessed Lady and ask her prayers and intercession.

Finally, we send you our love and prayers and ask a remembrance in your prayers as well.

Sincerely in Christ,

Al and Patti Mansfield
