Bishop Sam Jacobs was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Lafayette in 1964 where he served as pastor, chaplain, and associate pastor of several parishes there and also in the Diocese of Lake Charles. He has served as chairman of the National Service Committee for the Charismatic Renewal and diocesan director of Vocations and Seminarians for the Diocese of Lake Charles. Bishop Jacobs was appointed the tenth bishop of Alexandria in 1989 and was installed as the third bishop of Houma-Thibodaux in 2003. He retired in October of 2013 and is now the bishop emeritus of Houma-Thibodaux.
Deacon Steve was ordained in the Diocese of Orange in May 2007 as a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church. He is assigned to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton parish in Irvine, California. He has been married to Mary Anne Greco for 49 years and they have three children and four grandchildren.
Deacon Steve founded Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry, a ministry of Evangelization and healing, and gives talks and healing services throughout the United States and worldwide. He is currently the host of a weekly radio show, “Empowered by the Spirit” heard on the Relevant network at noon on Sundays and is on ESNE Catholic Radio network. He has published a daily meditational book, 365 Days of Praise available on Amazon. Denise Beyer has been married for 45 years. She has four grown married children and 12 grandchildren. She has served as the coordinator for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux for 7 years and liaison to Bishop Sam Jacobs for 3 years. She currently serves on several CCRNO committees and has been involved in Conferences, Retreats, Days of Renewal, and Life in the Spirit Seminars for seventeen years through the ministry of CCRNO and the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
Denise is a cohost on Catholic Community Radio’s “Wake Up” show on Wednesday mornings at 7:00am with Jeff Blackwell, Gaby Smith, and Alicia Quebedeaux. In the past she has hosted a live weekly call-in radio program on Radio Maria entitled, “All Who Are Thirsty Prayer Time” and a live evangelistic radio program on Radio Maria entitled “Women of God”.
She has traveled to Brazil in conjunction with CCRNO, and Seattle, WA with Hope and Purpose Ministries. It is her hope and desire to make the living Presence of Jesus and the fullness of life in the Holy Spirit known to all by proclaiming the Word of God, the richness of our Catholic faith, and the power of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit that transform lives.
Andi Oney is an international Catholic evangelist from the New Orleans, Louisiana area, who is known for her anointed teaching. Andi’s love of Scripture and her enthusiasm to learn about the things of God motivate her to continue to grow in her own faith journey. Andi has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision. She is a senior team member of Hope and Purpose Ministries and is the Associate Executive Director of CCRNO. Deacon Larry Oney, a permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, is a premiere international Catholic preacher, dynamic teacher, author, radio host, and founder of Hope and Purpose Ministries; whose mission is to proclaim the Kingdom of God (Matthew 10:7), encourage others that God has a plan and purpose for their lives (Jeremiah 29:11), and to help heal the broken-hearted (John 10:10b). Janice Charbonnet was born and raised in Canada. She studied at Mount Saint Vincent University in Nova Scotia and earned a degree in Public Relations. She worked in various positions across the country, ending with a position as the Public Relations Coordinator for a politician with a cabinet position. In 1996, she felt called to quit her job and serve as a missionary with NET Ministries, traveling with a team across the United States leading evangelization retreats for teenagers. That was where she met her husband, Jean, and they continued to work with NET Ministries together, this time in their Canadian office. They moved to Mandeville in 2008 to be closer to Jean's family. Janice and Jean have 5 children ranging in age from 5 to 18. She serves on the Women's Retreat team for CCRNO. She and her husband are speakers for Willwoods marriage retreats and also facilitate a program teaching married couples how to pray together.
Timmy McCaffery has spent the last twenty years serving in various forms of ministry. From teaching and coaching to youth ministry, marriage and family ministry, and itinerant speaking. He currently serves as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, where he and his wife Jonee raise their six children.
Patti Gallagher Mansfield was a participant in the February 1967 "Duquesne Weekend" which marked the beginning of the Charismatic Renewal in the Catholic Church. From the earliest days of the Renewal, she has served as a leader through teaching, writing and pastoral ministry.
Her book, As By A New Pentecost: Golden Jubilee Edition, is the most complete account of the beginning of the largest ecclesial movement today. Her other books include: Proclaim the Joy of the Gospel, Everyday Holiness and Magnificat: A Mother’s Reflections on Mary.Patti is married to Al Mansfield, and they have four adult children and twelve grandchildren.
Al Mansfield has served the Catholic Church for fifty years in teaching, pastoral ministry and administration. He holds an undergraduate degree in history and a Master’s degree in theology from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana.
They are recipients of the Papal Medal, Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice (For the Church and the Pope), by Saint John Paul II.
